The Royal Mortise lock Design is among the best locking mechanisms found on  any door or window of any kind.  Also an optional outside keylock is available.

3. Ease of Operation

Royal's design and innovation overcomes this in an ingenious fashion.  As you probably  noticed in the illustration above, there are sets of doublewheeled steel rollers mounted at each bottom corner of the sliding panel.  The roller assembly is securely fastened to an extruded aluminum reinforcement  which  runs the full width of the sliding panel.  As the sliding panel is moved back and forth, each set
of wheels is allowed to pivot slightly to adjust constantly to the different pressures exerted on the  panel-not unlike the way independent suspension smooths out the ride in an automobile
