Transferrable Lifetime Limited Warranty Royal Prime Inc. of Elizabeth ("Royal Prime") warrants to you, the original consumer purchaser, that the window products, when installed in  residential buildings will be free from manufacturing defects in material and workmanship for as long as you own the home in which the products were installed. WINDOW UNIT - LIFETIME: Royal Prime warrants your window system to be free from manufacturing and material defects for the lifetime of the  product to the original purchaser homeowner.  The window finish will not pit, corrode, peel, rot, rust or blister. INSULATING GLASS - 30 YEARS:  Royal Prime  warrants that for a period of thirty (30) years from the date of installation under normal use and service, the insulated glass unit will not fail.  A "failed" unit is one that  develops a significant obstruction of vision resulting from a film formation or dust collection between the interior glass surfaces of the unit caused by failure of the hermetic seal.  Small  marks, scratches, and spots which do not exceed our company standards of federal government specifications DD-04516 do not make insulating glass units defective.  Condensation on any window  or door is the natural result of excessive moisture in a house, does not indicate a faulty product and is not covered under this warranty.  If a unit fails after ten (10) years as a result  of defects described, then Royal Prime will charge a fixed percentage of its selling price for insulated glass as follows:                                           Years 10 to 14  -  50%                                           Years 15 to 19  -  70%                                           Years 20 to 24  -  80%                                           Years 25 to 30  -  90% MOVING PARTS - 5 YEARS: Royal Prime warrants that balances, locking mechanisms, and other moving hardware parts shall be free from manufacturing and material defects for a period of five (5) years from original purchase. CAULKING/PAINT:  Caulking is not considered part of the window product and is not covered by this warranty.  Caulking is considered a maintenance responsibility of the  homeowner.  This warranty only applies to factory coatings.  Painting the Fiberglass does not void the warranty; however consumer applied coatings may peel or blister.  TRANSFER PROVISIONS:  The transferrable portion of this warranty shall be valid only after the transfer certificate is filled in by the  dealer, signed by the original purchaser and mailed to Royal Prime within thirty (30) days of the transfer date and accompanied by a three ($3.00) dollar per window transfer fee. Failure to so  notify Royal Prime of the transfer shall relieve Royal Prime of any further obligation hereunder.  Additionally, the consumer must produce the original invoice(s) for the window(s) and pay a  ten ($10.00) dollar processing fee to Royal Prime whenever a warranty is transferred.  The original warranty shall not be extended by any such repair or replacement, but any remaining  warranty time period shall continue in effect and be applicable under the terms and conditions of this warranty to the repaired part or component.  Any claims for defects under this warranty  should be submitted in writing to Royal Prime detailing the nature of the defect and the date that it first appeared.  (Proof of purchase is required.)  Royal Prime reserves the right  for final approval on warranty claims.  Visual inspection may be required.  If Royal Prime determines a claim is valid in accordance with the provisions of this warranty, Royal Prime  agrees to exchange any defective part or component without charge when the defective part is returned to Royal Prime, transportation charges prepaid. Royal Prime's sole obligation under  this warranty is limited to furnishing replacement material and does not cover any possible labor, removal, or reinstallation charges.  For service under this warranty, contact your  dealer.  Replacements will be shipped to the dealer at no charge, except for freight charges.  It will be the consumer's obligation to make subsequent arrangements with the dealer. Royal Prime reserves the right to discontinue or change any window products as manufactured.  If the part or component is not available and Royal Prime determines to make a replacement,  Royal Prime shall have the right to substitute such part or component designated to be of equal quality. This warranty covers only those manufacturing and material defects as specified  herein and does not include defects or damage caused by improper installation, normal weathering, or defects caused by accidents, fire, flood, or other acts of God.  This warranty does  not cover broken glass, torn screening, damage caused by vandalism, riot or civil disorder, misuse, abuse, or harmful fumes, vapors or chemical pollutants in the atmosphere, mildew, building  settlement or structural failure of walls or foundations. The manufacturer makes no other expressed or implied guarantees or warranties and shall not be liable for any incidental or  consequential damages with respect to the products covered by this warranty. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, AND SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE  EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF THE LIMITATION OF REMEDIES FOR BREACH OF WARRANTY SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
