Ribbon Cables

We manufacture a wide range of internal ribbon cables as listed below.

ATA133, ATA100 and ATA66 cables / Ultra DMA 66/100/133 use 80 conductor cable with 40 pin connectors. This preserves signal integrity by placing ground lines between data and signal lines. Using cables with this type of construction allows the maximum data rates of ATA66, ATA100 ATA133 to be reached.

The standard length specifications for these cables are:

    Total cable length: 10 - 18 inches
   Length between controller and first drive: 5 - 12 inches
   Length between drives: 5 - 6 inches
