USB Cables are designed to connect USB Peripherals to USB Enabled Computers. Contrary to normal belief, there is only one active USB specification, this is version 2.0.
In the 2.0 spec, there are three speeds that a device can function at. These are Low-Speed, 1.5 megabits per second (Mbps), Full-Speed, 12 Mbps, and Hi-Speed (480
Mbps). GoldX™ Products part numbers GX600-06, GX600-10, or GX600-15, has two speeds that they will work with Low-Speed and Full-Speed. The 2.0 certified version,
part numbers GX620-06, GX620-10, or GX620-15, will perform at Low-Speed, Full-speed, and Hi-Speed. The cables listed above look the same. The way to tell if you
have a GX600-xx or a GX620-xx is to look for the USB High Speed Certified Flag on the cable. If that flag is not there, then look for a test ID number printed on the jacket of the
