1 Day Fiber Optic Training Course

COURSE  OBJECTIVE

The objective  of this 1 day Fiber Optic Training course is to provide you with  the tools you need to be successful in all aspects of cable  installation and termination. This course is non-vendor  specific, and allows participants to work "hands-on" with a wide  variety of materials supplied by a number of leading  manufacturers. You will acquire necessary information to  effectively manage your fiber optic network using  state-of-the-art components and equipment. No prior knowledge or  experience with fiber optics is required for participation.

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR

President of Electronic Interface Associates, Inc. (EIA), Arnie  Harris has 23 years of experience in the wire and interconnect  industry. Prior to establishing EIA in 1989, he served as  national sales manager for Berk-Tek, national accounts manager  for Belden and customer service supervisor for Cramer  Electronics. Arnie earned his Bachelor Of Science from Worcester  State College and post-graduate courses at Harvard University.  He has taught a general fiber optics course for numerous clients  such as Conrail, Mansfield University, US Steel, DEC, IBM and  many other corporate and institutional clients.

COURSE FEE: The fee covers course tuition and all course  materials, including tools, manuals and a certificate of  completion at end of course. Any traveling, hotel  accommodations, meals or parking expenses that may be incurred  are not included. Payment must be received ten (10) business  days prior to the course date.

The fees are as follows:

    $300.00 per registrant for the first 2 registrants
    $250.00 per registrant exceeding 2 registrants
    For on-site training, a minimum of 6 people will be required

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellation and full refund will  be allowed if written cancellation is received in our office at  least ten (10) business days prior to the course start date.  Registrants who cancel more than three (3) business days in  advance, will be refunded 50% of the course fee. Registrants who  do not attend or cancel less than three (3) business days prior  to the course start date are responsible for the full  registration fee. Registrants may request to transfer to a later  course date provided there is space available, the course fee is  paid in full and the request is made seven (7) business days  prior to the scheduled course date. Substitutions may be at any  time.

COURSE SCHEDULE: Registration is at 8:00 a.m. The program  begins at 8:30 a.m. and concludes between 4:30 and 5:00 p.m.
