Parallel Link
PARALLEL LINK is the advanced modular printer sharing system that enables 2 to 31 PCs to share a laser printer or dot-matrix printer over a distance of 4,000 feet with no loss of data integrity! PARALLEL LINK uses standard telephone wire without utilizing switches or software to daisy-chain
multiple PCs. The daisy-chain requires one transmitter at each PC and a receiver at the desired printer.
Operating with a data transfer rate of 256K bits per second, the PARALLEL LINK is compatible with all high-end networks, file servers, workstations, and PCs. PARALLEL LINK is the easiest hardware printer-sharing solution for DOS, WINDOWS, OS/2, UNIX and SUN SPARC operating systems; yet it is ideal for stand-alone PCs needing to share a printer.
