 Attenuators are designed to reduce optical signal levels in
communications systems to a desired power range. Emerson®
attenuators offer stable and accurate attenuation values, low back-reflection and a variety of different connector and fiber types. These attenuators are widely used in optical transmission systems,
telecommunication applications, test equipment and CATV solutions.The attenuation values of Emerson® standard in-line attenuators range from 5 to 20 dB, available in 5 dB increments. Custom configurations are available upon request.

LC, MT-RJ & SC loopbacks and attenuated wrap plugs
 Optical Connectivity supplies LC, MT-RJ & SC loopbacks and attenuated wrap plugs for both singlemode and multimode applications.
For 50/125 glass measured with 850nm VCSEL light sources or for 62.5/125 glass measured with 1300nm LED light sources, we offer insertion losses of 3,
6, and 9dB, or custom designs of other losses with a 9 dB maximum. Our loopbacks feature a protective cover available upon request with custom logos or colors.
For singlemode applications, the common loss options for singlemode attenuated wrap plugs are 5, 10, and 15 dB with 1310nm Laser. We offer
custom-built attenuated wrap plugs with loss options from 4 dB to 25dB upon request. Call us with your specific attenuated wrap plug requirements.
