 This ribbon wire works for
mass termination. The round shielded jacket makes the cable more flexible
while, when tied to a ground, the shield can keep out unwanted electrical
noise. Maximum length could be stretched a little with this as opposed to the
flat ribbon cable.
Wire Gage and Stranding:28 AWG (7x36)
The connectors
typically used on this wire are ID20F and/or CE20F.
This ribbon cable is .05 inch pitch, a typical
connector would be two row .1 inch pitch, see CAB020-SR
for a flat .05 inch pitch cable with a flat
shield.
