HDMI is Single Link Digital only, this cable will only work to DVI-D (Single) or DVI-I (providing only a digital signal) ports and won't work to DVI-A or VGA. For DVI-A or VGA, a VGA to DVI converter would be needed instead of this cable. This cable has the HDMI Type A 19 pin connector and is rated for HDMI 1.2a or earlier.
