Works with 10Base-T and 100Base-TX but not with 100Base-VG.
10Base-T and 100Base-TX are networks that use only two out of the four pairs of a Cat 5 patch cable. Our L6004 was designed to allow two connections through a single 4 pair wire that has been pulled through the wall to save you from having to pull a second wire through the wall for the second connection.

The L6004 works in pairs (one at each end of the 4 pair wire).
PLEASE NOTE:This item doesn't split a single port on a hub, switch or computer into two ports. If you need to split a port on a hub, switch or computer, another hub is the only way to do that.
