Users can now network two or more Universal Serial Bus (USB) computers through standard Plug & Play technology without adding network cards. With its increasing popularity, USB is the obvious choice for networking PCs. Not only is the ADP3181 easy to install and use, its transfer rate of up to 6 Mbps is significantly faster than that of alternative products, which provide a transfer rate of only up to 2 Mbps. The USB Net is less costly than other alternatives. Rather than requiring one unit for each computer, each USB Net can be used between two PCs, thus minimizing the number of units required. The ADP3181 takes advantage of existing USB ports. No power outlet or costly upgrades are required to use this home network solution.
