The RS232 Optical Isolator from
Cadessys Technologies is designed to eliminate noise, surges, spikes, static electricity and different ground potentials to any device connected to an RS232 link.
The circuit design incorporates
an isolation gap that provides physical separation between ports and assures sufficient creepage distance to provide a minimum of 5000 volts protection. A dedicated power conservation circuit assures
minimum losses and a true line driver guarantees reliability and proper signal parameters.
High data rates are supported: 0 - 38,400 bps. Built-in hysteresis provides error free operation.
