RoHs Compliance The RoHS
Directive stands for "the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment". This Directive bans the placing on the EU market
of new electrical and electronic equipment containing more than agreed levels of lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) flame
retardants.
Cadessys Technologies Inc. reviews customer requirements in ISO9001:2000 Contract Review. A RoHs compliant part must be identified and purchased from a vendor that can provide the
certificate of compliance if required. Cadessys Technologies Inc. does not manufacture component parts for custom cable assembly. When sourcing parts from manufacturers or distribution we
can verify the manufacturers RoHs statement for compliance, and purchase only components that are RoHs compliant
when required by contract review. |
