Cisco Patch Panel Description and Specifications
Our Cisco async patch panels are an economical and elegant replacement for the 68-pin octopus Cisco cables, CAB-OCTAL-ASYNC. They were designed to reduce clutter and increase functionality in networks using Cisco routers like Cisco 2600, Cisco 3600 utilizing Cisco NM-16A and Cisco NM-32A modules.

The CADESSYS Cisco Async Panel provides a fast, effective and reliable way to connect the NM-16A and NM-32A modules to modems and terminals. Fitting a standard 19" rack the Cisco patch panels eliminate bulky, multiple octopus cables enabling fast installation, quick moves and re-configuration. A single cable connects each module to 8 female RJ-45 ports on the front of the panel allowing a clean, high-density installation for the up to 96 available ports. No couplers or adapters are required. Connection cables for the Cisco async patch panel are a standard 6 foot length with a 10 foot length available as an option.These panels have a replaceable Mylar pre-numbered strip in the top window numbered either 00-15 or 16-31 for easy, clear port identification.
