Custom Fiber Cable – The Process
 As custom fiber optic cable manufacturers, we work closely with our customers to
understand and even refine their requirements. We pay meticulous attention to every phase of the custom fiber design and manufacturing process. Some of the more common
decision parameters are: insertion loss, back reflection, bend radius, single-mode or
multimode fibre, fiber count, zipcord or assembly, breakout or fan-out, jacket rating, Tight-Pack or distribution.
We manufacture singlemode and multimode custom fiber for harsh environments as well as
for the military. If your requirements fall in any of these categories, our environmental custom fiber team will discuss with you additional design parameters such as water
-blocked construction, armored construction, aerial construction, and tactical requirements.

he Corning 100G-Migration-Patch-Cord eliminates the need for re-cabling and major network modifications in 100G ready 12-fiber systems.
The new system replaces the 12-fiber MTP patch cord with the new dual 12-fiber MTP to 24-fiber MTP 100G
Migration Patch Cord. The 100G Patch Cord features a flexible round cable, small outer diameter and Corning®
ClearCurve® multimode fiber. It offers enhanced bend performance (eliminates bend concerns), while allowing
tighter cable routing without negatively impacting system performance.
