MODULAR JACKS
When using HellermannTytons modular jacks, patch panels, and patch cords with an approved horizontal cable, the GigaBand Category 6 and MegaBand Category 5e systems far exceed the TIA requirements for structured cabling systems. HellermannTyton modular jacks are an integral part of the Category 6 and Category 5e systems.

Punch Down Installation Palm Tool
To expedite jack installation, HellermannTyton provides a useful tool. The palm tool fits ergonomically in the hand to ease the punch down process of both flush and angled modular jacks as well as the individual ports in the AlphaSnap patch panels.
Category 5e MegaBand Flush Jack
The new MegaBand Category 5e flush modular jack is designed to meet the needs of end-users and installers. Several features have been incorporated to provide an easier and quicker installation. HellermannTyton provides a guaranteed system with exceptional performance that will support Gigabit Ethernet and 622 Mbps ATM applications with complete reliability. This Category 5e jack meets and exceeds the requirements of TIA/EIA-568-B.2.
Category 3 Modular Jacks
Offered in two styles, HellermannTytons Category 3 jacks are designed to give the maximum performance in Category 3 applications. Available in an 8 position, 8 conductor USOC connector or a 6 position, 6 conductor USOC connector, they ensure the most reliable connection for voice and data applications. The 6 position jack can be wired as an RJ11C (1 pair), RJ14C (2 pair), or RJ25C (3 pair) configuration.
