 FIBER SPLICE PROTECTORS
The Fiber Splice Protector (FSP) is a heat shrinkable sleeve designed for the mechanical and environmental protection of
fused fiber optic cable splices. It contains an inner liner of adhesive and a stainless steel reinforcing rod for the ultimate protection of the splice. The FSP is also fitted with a silicon sleeve for dampening of vibration. Available in 2 lengths of 45 mm and 60 mm, the FSP is provided in a clear heatshrink,as well as eight various colors.
 MECHANICAL SPLICE HOLDER
The mechanical splice holder is designed to accommodate the 3M Fibrlok mechanical splice. Fibrlok snaps into the holder with very little effort. The holder is provided with double-sided adhesive to easily apply to inside of splice trays. We recommend 1 splice holder per splice tray in order to maintain proper bend radius for the fiber. This mechanical splice holder is only designed to be used with the FRBU9-XXM part numbers.
 PORT CUTTING TOOL
Manufactured from high quality stainless steel, the TPC is designed for fast and easy removal of the closed cable entry ports on the fiber optic closures. The tool is aligned with the port and rotated several times, cutting through the material and leaving a smooth finish ready for cable installation.
