The Universal Fiber Closure (UFC) is a revolutionary system designed to accommodate all current and future high fiber count splicing applications up to 3,456 mass fusion splices and 432 single fusion splices. The UFC is offered in 2 different size dome configurations with the same base to allow for customization of applications. The UFC allows future-proofing of applications by being able to easily expand onto a previous installation. The newly designed Hellipse splice tray incorporates a 1-1/2" (38 mm) bend radius for the latest optical fiber requirements.The Hellipse splice tray is designed to accept various splice inserts single fusion, single mechanical or mass fusion. The cables are sealed to the base by using heatshrink sleeving or Cablelok non-heatshrink seals.
